Lou Suddick
26th June 1970 – 19th January 2009
Louise it is known was a spirit so free,
Her enthusiasm for life was so plain to see,
She approached each hurdle at break neck speed,
No warnings or caution did she heed.
She lived her life by her own rules it is true,
Yet her compassion and empathy always shone through.
Clever, hard working, her character so strong,
Self willed but fair, she pushed herself on.
She fought to live, her children to raise,
Against all the odds, she had to be praised.
We are all on limited time it is true,
But Louise had so much she wanted to do.
Her fight will humble us when we complain,
And her spirit will live on in her children again.
Life is a mystery, a lottery of fate,
Which we all need to heed before it is too late.
Thank you to the author of this lovely poem.
