Lou's 2nd anniversary. I try not to dwell on that, concentrating more on her birthday as something that is positive and fun to celebrate. Her big four-0 would have been a major party if she had been here last year! Things are not perfect and never will be, but things are starting to settle down. The pain never heals with time as people always say, you just get used to the pain and get on with life, but it is always there. However we are in a happier place now than two years ago and we can all watch videos of Lou now with smiles and laughter instead of tears and sorrow. Thinking of Lou brings a smile now, happy days and good memories, it was fun. Time now to go and build some new ones.
